Yesterday was AWESOME! Students used Legos to create a thinking map to organize their thoughts for their "Walk in the Woods" writing. Today, the students took their thoughts from the scenes they built, and put them on paper. Tomorrow, if I have time, I hope to video 1 or 2 of them reading their stories for you. I am SO proud of how well their writing is progressing. The Legos really helped them to organize their thoughts, but they also launched their creativity to a whole new level. I wish my teachers would have used Legos, don't you?
