Polar Bear Research
For the last week, students have been reading a book that I wrote about polar bears. They are the illustrators of the book and have to use key words from the story to create their illustrations. The words you see highlighted in yellow were the key words they decided were important vocabulary that would help their illustrations. After finishing with the book, students did research on the iPads through a kid friendly search engine called kidrex.org. It is linked over at www.mrdearybury.com if you can to use it at home! After we finished researching, students shared their findings with the group. We concluded with a fun video about polar bears.
