Blogging is a great way to excite students about writing. Students who normally do not enjoy writing in a journal will usually be much more engaged in an online writing assignment. Some of you may be asking... What is a blog? Simply put, it is an online journal where writing is stored, instead of a typical paper journal.
Today, my students jumped into the blogging experience head first, and the excitement was tangible! Every student started their own blog and wrote their first entry. To view your child's blog, click on the kidblog link below and have them log in. There you will be able to see their writing and their tech skills. Hopefully you will be impressed, and they can teach you a bit about blogging along the way.
