I snapped this pic last week as students were going through the lunch line. Did you all know that District 6 is totally in charge of its own lunch program this year? No more using an outside company. The kids have loved the food this year. We had meatloaf one day last week, and all the kids kept telling me how yummy, awesome, delicious it was. Students are even allowed to serve themselves at the fruit bar at the end of the line. They are loving everything so far... I even saw kids eating broccoli without cheese! Keep making those healthy choices kids!
