Math Fact Fun

Everyday for the last ten minutes, I allow students to participate in "drill time" to help with their basic math facts. I have lots of cool strategies to learn to add, but sometimes just good old-fashioned flash cards do the trick. They love this time as you can tell from the noise... but whoever said noise meant that learning wasn't taking place? I love that the students are actively engaged during this time. They LOVE it! Be sure to practice at home with flash cards or an app. The math will be moving into regrouping (borrowing and carrying) very soon!
