One of the perks of my job is that I get to help college students learn how to be great teachers. Numerous times throughout the year, I have the privilege of having practice teachers do training in my classroom. Mr. Jackson, a Converse College Grad student, doesn't need a lot of help. He is a natural. It is so great to listen to him read to the kids. They are hanging on his every word as he reads chapter 8 and 9 of our first ever chapter book, The Haunted Library! We are lucky to have him with us as he prepares for his future in education! Welcome Mr. Jackson!
